Family-owed farm

I started growing vegetable about 20 years ago after being inspired by my aunt and mother-in-law, both of which were avid gardeners. After a rise in concern regarding the food my kids were receiving at school and his behavior, I decided to transition to commercial farming with the hopes of starting a farm to school program for our local public schools.

After years of struggling to complete the transition, I was blessed to hear about an incubator farming program Central State University was starting and signed up. I went from being a participant to co-farm manager for the incubator program and have been blessed to extend my involvement in agriculture to other organizations as well. Currently, I am co-farm manager for the Trotwood Incubator Farm, co-lead of the Vibrant Farms branch of the Food Equity Coalition, Ambassador for Black Farmers Network and founder of Seven Seed Sowers Co-op and a member of OEFFA.

ABOUT ENDIGO'S HERBALS & ORGANICS

Endigo's Herbals & Organics is a small farm located on .5 acres in Trotwood, Ohio.  Our goal is to provide nutrient rich, chemical-free produce and herbs to communities facing food insecurity. 10% of our harvest is donated to local food banks. My motto is, "Live like you want to be healthy!" That takes time and consideration for the most important person in your life...yourself. If we do not invest in our own health, we will not be able to do all the amazing things we do for our families and community.  Taking care of the world starts with taking care of yourself.

We use regenerative practices such as flower and herb companion planting for pest control; composting; water catchment systems and crop rotation to ensure our farm grows health produce and nurtures the soil. You will taste the difference!
